This is exactly what I'm looking for in the future (see article here). If some company could come out with a great cell phone that also has the amount of space and features of good mp3 players (like bookmarking, playlists and so forth), I'd be all over it. I've read about rumors that Apple is looking into creating an iPod phone. I think that is all very doable. The only downside I see (other than possibly the price) is battery life. My cellphone's battery life is already not long enough even though it will last 3 days or so. It lasts that long because I hardly ever talk on it or use any other features. But if I were to play music or audible books with it, I'm thinking the battery life wouldn't even last me half a day. So these companies looking at doing this need to be working hand in hand with battery manufacturers to address this issue and possibly improve the technology or it really won't be worth it.

Music Phones Tackle the iPod
